Puncture Wounds is an collection of poetry about vampires and vampirism. The poems in this collection were written by Scott Urban and Bruce Whealton.

Bruce writes the following about this, I wanted to combine my skills in web design and development and my love of poetry and to create an artistic and original publication for the web." Initially, that was the only form for this collection of poems. I've been publishing Word Salad Poetry Magazine on the web since 1995. I now wanted to find ways to create online publications that stand out from the rest. Online publications are very popular now. So, it's a challenge to stand out. As a web publisher, I began to learn about ways of creating content that used the Flash player for the web. Upwards of 98% of web users have the flash player installed.
In the case of creating this e-book collection for the web, I was able to create a publication that uses vibrant, full color images, background music, and interactivity. The e-book publication has a look and feel of a magazine that you can interact with like reading a hard copy magazine and flipping the pages. The pages of the e-book literally flip while clicking on the corners of the magazine pages, with the sound effect of pages turning.
