On Love, God's versus our limited understandings

I think God has no interest in our countries and wars. On terrorism and our 21st century efforts to justify continued war. I was thinking of that watching Battlestar Galactica. They don’t seem to have a heck of a lot of humanity, the characters in the story. So, how strange is it to get this insight from such a story. It’s a sci-fi story and in it a man stops his race, from wiping out a race that has been trying to wipe them out – no doubt about that. What matters is his love for one that is from the other race.

I think that unless we can really love one person totally and completely we cannot love. I mean there is the idea of the good of the country and the good of many outweighing any concerns we might have any one person. But if we do not care for any one person, enough to risk and sacrifice all else, everything else, then there is no reason to fight or care for anything.
That was emotional reasoning from the ideas presented.
