Bruce Whealton: Existential Writing

I was thinking about what I wrote on Ryan’s book – in the book review ( Ryan David Miller – my new fairly new friend from Wilmington, NC). I thought of the idea of sharing journal entries about what is happening in one’s life… what inspires our poems. That takes a great deal of courage. It’s hard to share my dreams… to share very specific details that can be very personal… dreams about things that are probably impossible. That’s what miracles are about, right? When the impossible becomes possible and happens… when that which we assume could not be, somehow is. But seriously, the things for which I pray – they are impossible, even God does not do these things, or grant such prayers…
