The value of ideas
Existentialist Ideas – the value of ideas
I guess the biggest question I ask is whether or not anyone will want to read what I have to say. I mean with so many blogs out there, what will I have to offer that is new and fresh. Well, by definition, this will be fresh content, in every post I write. Certainly, I’ve never been one to copy and claim as my own the ideas of another. So, what will this blog by a poet discuss? Well, some ideas and topics, or postings may seem off topic. What does a movie review have to do with being a poet or poetry itself? Simple, poets find inspiration from a variety of sources.

Getting an insight into what inspires a poet and the poetry they write has always been interesting to me. I also enjoy getting an insight into the mind of my favorite fiction/novel writers. I, myself, have never written a novel and haven’t written too much fiction in a while. When I did write fiction, I found myself drawn to the horror genre. So, with that in mind, I’d like to recommend two titles that combine the ideas of philosophy and the horror genre. You will be happily surprised with the intelligent commentary on the horror genre and in particular these topics.
