Haiku:

  1. Note:  For our interests this is what we would like to think of as Haiku or at least the Haiku that we want to publish.  We are flexible with regard to what will fit this definition and what we will publish here.

  2. This is a Japanese poetry form that translates into English as roughly composed of 17 syllables.

  3. It need not be exactly 17 syllables, but in that range...

  4. though sometimes short Haiku will be on one line and be made up of very few syllables.

  5. It should capture a moment.

  6. Often has good, vivid imagery

  7. Limited grammar is applied in Haiku.
